Dragons: Wilderness/Town (Teens/Adults)

Chance looked down. "No." He said quietly.

"I know it looks pretty, and it costs a lot, but it's not nice to take things." Hugh told him. "Do you want to help me take it back when we're done here?" Hugh asked him, looking into his eyes.

"I wan' it." Chance said sadly, looking to Hugh with watery green eyes.

"I know, but it's not yours, if you keep it then only you will be able to appreciate it, you didn't want anyone else to see it, and no one else could have known how beautiful it looks." Hugh could make Chance a ring, but that would then reward him for stealing, Hugh couldn't teach him that stealing was okay.

Chance let out a small sigh but nodded, sliding off Hughs knee and picking up the ring, then giving it to Hugh, though he didn't look happy at all.

"Thank you, let's finish here." Hugh told him quietly standing up and tucking Rain's blanket under her mattress.

Rain was quiet and gave Chance an apologetic look.

Chance shook his head, pulling the door open and walking off, finding Erin. Knowing he could manipulate her into giving him a lot of love and cuddles even though he'd done something bad. He reached his hands up, Erin pulling him onto her lap, sharing her pie with him, whilst cuddling him.

Hugh sighed and sat on the bed, Rain went up and put her hand on his knee "It okay daddy, Chance only want things." Rain told Hugh.

Hugh nodded and stood, "Come on, let's go see if we can find him something to tell him we still love him." Hugh told Rain, careful not to let his voice travel down the hall.

Chance cuddled up to Erin when they were on the couch, his head on her chest, she holding him close.

Erin pulled a blanket over then, laying down and cuddling with him, slowly falling asleep.

Hugh walked out of the children's room and found Nick pacing the hall and Erin asleep. "I'm going out to get Chance something, I'll be back soon." Hugh told Nick, whispering so he wouldn't wake Erin or Chance. Hugh had Rain in his arms.

Nick nodded, tidying up since he had nothing else to do.

Hugh took Rain into town and returned the ring Chance had taken. Then he bought a simple titanium band, and a pyrite one. He took Rain back home, the entire excursion lasted maybe an hour or two.

Erin and Chance had woken, and were playing with Nick, a game where the floor was lava. Erin had forgiven Nick and both agreed to never talk of it again. All three were giggling.

Hugh smiled at the three, Rain jumped off and hurried over "I play?" She asked, wanting to know how.

"How do you play?" Hugh asked, since he wasn't really doing anything else either.

Erin looked to Rain and Hugh. "You have to stay off the ground, the whole ground is lava." Erin said, Nick catching her when she almost fell off the couch. Chance springing from the kitchen, onto the back of a chair, then to the single couch. Adopting the agility of a cat.

"Yay!" Rain said getting onto the small table in the  middle of the room, she jumped to the other couch.

Hugh stood on the table as well, unsure of where else to go.

Nick jumped onto a recliner, Erin smirked. "Make some room." She said, jumping over. The chair falling back, Erin landing on Nick. "Ouch.." He breathed. "Its ok, I didn't touch the lava." Erin smiled, holding up her hands.

Hugh smirked a little, he hoped to where Erin and Nick had been.

Rain jumped over to where Chance was.

Nick tipped Erin off his stomach. "You can't do that!" Erin said. "I just did." Nick laughed, they continuing to argue.

Hugh looked over at the two, Hugh wasn't sure what had brought the argument on, he motioned Rain and Chance into the other room before it could get heated.

Rain followed Chance, trying to do everything he did.

"Its just a game Nick." Erin smiled, patting his shoulder.

Chance was jumping around, landing quietly on the surfaces.

Hugh turned back to Erin and Nick, glad they hadn't let it get too far along.

Rain was a little noisier, knocking the occasional pot off the counter.

Nick looked shocked seeing as she had started the argument. "Oh yeah, that pie is done if you two want some. Me, Nick and Chance had some earlier." Erin looked to Hugh and Rain.

"Oh, right," Hugh went to get Rain, "You want some pie?" He asked her, offering his arms.

"Daddy's burning!" Rain said, still thinking they were playing.

"Honey, the games over." Erin said softly. "Come here, sweetheart." Erin walked to Chance, he lifting his arms, Erin pulling him to sit on her hip, he giggling at the faces Nick was making behind Erins back, though when she looked to him, he acted casually, like he'd done nothing.
