The Island

"See ya." Easton smiled with a brief wave of his hand, when the door shut Easton turned to Natasha, "so does that mean he's actually more colorful than when I saw him?"

Natasha nodded with a smile. "He changed colour every month." She told him. "I bet its red this time." Though she couldn't be more wrong. He'd be a pink/purple mix.

"Okay, that's interesting, so I guess he cycles through them or you wouldn't be able to guess." Easton said, smiling at Natasha with his hands in his pockets.

"Well their quite random, sometimes its plain, sometimes its with spots of colour, sometimes he colours mix." She explained. "I just think he'll be red." Natasha smiled a little.

Easton smiled back, "Okay, I guess we'll see once he's done, at least he's one of a kind." Easton might be able to look something like him, but had never stayed in a form long enough to shed his skin, he might ask Solomon before he did though, just to see if it was interesting enough to do.

Natasha nodded lightly. "Do you have a home?" She asked, he'd seen her house.

"I can live anywhere, honestly, but I did stay in a cave with a pack of foxes for a while, that was probably the longest time I'd spent really anywhere." That had been a good five years, Easton had enjoyed their company even if he looked a little more human than they had.

"So you don't have a real place to live?" Natasha asked.

"No, I don't have a house." Easton said, shaking his head. he had assumed Natasha had wanted to visit his home. "Not since I learned to care for myself."

"Oh." Natasha said softly, she felt sorry for him. She felt safe and protected at home, and if he didn't have one, she thought he would be vulnerable. Though there were hardly anything on the island which could harm them, but everything had its predator.

"I guess I never felt the need for one. anything here I can just adapt to before it kills me." Though there were guns bombs and other things which he wasn't sure he'd be able to notice to adapt to before it got to him, hopefully nothing like that existed on the island.

"You can live in my house. You must miss laying in a warm bed." Natasha offered. "Not mine." She said quickly. "One in the guest rooms."

Easton smiled, "I knew that." He said, though was a little curious as to why she would have thought that, he thought she had a thing for Solomon.

Natasha nodded lightly. "So you'll stay?" She smiled.

"Of course," Easton said "You did offer, I'd be rude not to accept." He said walking back toward the cabin next to Natasha.

Natasha smiled. "Great." She liked the idea of having someone to talk to. She walked with him.

"You know, I've always though you and Solomon had a thing going, I was trying not to intrude." Easton said with a smile.

"Me and Solomon?" Natasha laughed lightly. "Easton. Solomon's like a brother to me. He's the closest friend I have, and he accepts I'm not like anyone here. I only love him as a friend." Natasha smiled.

Easton smiled, "I know, that's just how it came off, I guess I've made that mistake a couple time before." He shrugged, silently laughing at himself.

Natasha smiled lightly. "With who?" She asked curiously.

"I met these siblings once, if they were separated their powers wouldn't work, one could generate winds while the other could control the temperature, I thought they had a thing going but found out they were twins." It was similar circumstances, they weren't identical so that was a little less embarrassing.

Natasha laughed lightly. "I think you need better observational skills." She teased, nudging him slightly.

Easton laughed, "I think you're right." He rocked a little away from Natasha when she nudged him.

Natasha laughed lightly. "Do you evolve when your asleep? Like a sloth or something? Their quite lazy." She smirked lightly.

I smiled, "Only if my environment changes, then my subconscious takes over and turns me into whatever it thinks would be most suitable." I said, there had been a few times when I was sleeping in a tree and fell out. I had gone to sleep looking like some kind of ape or bird, then woke up looking more like a four legged mammal, every time had been different, fox, wolf, deer, puma.
