He hugs her from behind, pressing a couple kisses to her neck.

Scarlett let out a chuckle, closing her eyes with a hum. "Hey."

"Hey." He smiles kissing her cheek.,

Scarlett smiles. "What do you wanna do now?" She asks, resting her hands on his.

"Whatever you want" He smiles..

"Please don't make me choose. I get really uncomfortable." Scarlett says softly.

"Alright. Then shall we watch movies and cuddle?" He grins.

Scarlett smiles. "That sounds good." She nods.

He smiles and kisses her cheek. "Want to pick the movie?"

"Okay. I can do that cos' I'll know you like most of the movies you own." Scarlett chuckles. "Do you have Final Destination?"

"Yep." He smiles, getting it from the cabinet.

"Great." Scarlett smiles. "I hate romantic movies. I'm in most of them." She laughs lightly. "Hey, do you have an old shirt I could change into? This dress is very uncomfortable." Scarlett smiles to him.

Alex smiles, soon being interrupted by his phone ringing. "Its my stepbrother's wife.. I gotta take this. Its strange hes not calling though." He mumbles the last part, answering his phone. "Hello?... Jodi, calm down... what do you mean? WWhat happened?.. I just saw him like two hours ago. What happened?.. You're kidding me right? He cant be.. yeah, bring Kenna.." he hangs up, running a hand through his hair and trying to stay calm.

Scarlett stands up. "Whats happened?" She asks, gently rubbing his arm, trying to calm him down.

"My stepbrother Mitch.. the guy who went on before us.. hes dead." He sighs softly.

Scarletts jaw drops, though she tries to contain her shock. "Wh-.. What happened?" She asks softly. "Should we go and see your family?" She asks, wanting to do what was best for him.

"Motorcycle accident. Her and their daughter are flying over from California. They'll be here in the morning." He mumbles, looking at his feet.

Scarlett hugs him gently, rubbing his back comfortingly. "Do you wanna go and spend some time with your family?" She asks softly and quietly, kissing his cheek. "I'll drive you there, then I'll come back and house-sit, to make sure Rose is okay." She says softly.

"Babe, my family is in Baltimore and Cali. There's no driving. Jodi is coming to drop Kenna off while she has to leave on business. That's the only reason they're flying out." He says, hugging back.

"Oh." Scarlett says softly. "Okay, but if you need anything, no matter what, you can ask me, okay? It doesn't matter what time." She soothes, being on her tiptoes.

"I already knew that." He says cheekily, leaning down and giving her a kiss.

Scarlett smiles gently, kissing hum back.

"So how about that movie?" He smiles slightly.

"Oh, right." Scarlett smiles, nodding. "Do you have a spare shirt I can change into?" She asks, having asked earlier.

"Yeah. Come on." He says, picking her up bridal style and carrying her upstairs.
