Aviary

I shrugged my shoulders, holding Aiden out to him. "Here... Be careful not to wake him, he's tired." I said quietly, rubbing the back of my neck once he picked him up. I pulled the sheets over my head, resting my head quietly on the pillow.

I held Aiden as I tried to think, sitting on the edge of the bed as I did so. It felt like the answer was right there for me I just had to look in the right spot.

I looked out to see them, I wanted to speak, but I kept to myself instead. Aiden seemed peaceful so I was happy with everything, as long as he was ok. He was my main concern as it was.

I held Aiden close to my chest, at the moment he felit like the only one I could trust, my answers to Mila had vanished, I only wanted to care for Aiden at the moment, not wanting Mila or whatever else she could give, or do, to me.

I watched, then got up after a few moments and walked out the door. I wanted to stay because of Aiden, but it was getting hard to stick with his father at the same time.

I still really wanted for this to work, I wished Mila could just tell me what she wanted, but no, she had to get angry first and hint at exactly what it was.

I dug through my old bag with clothes in it for a nice, warm jacket to put on. I changed clothes into a pair of boots, jeans, tank top and my jacket. "I'm going somewhere, I wouldn't wait up if I were you." I murmured as I walked back into the room, leaning down to kiss Aiden's forehead before I pulled back and walked back through the bedroom door.

I watched Mila go, i loved her but I felt like she was just playing with my emotions. I looked down at Aiden, but she probably feels like I'm just playing with her body, she's just returning the favor. "I still love you." I told Mila before she was out of earshot

I just nodded as I continued to walk. At least I was coming back, he should have been happy about that. All I wanted was to get away a bit, was that such a crime? I wanted to be with Aiden, but it wasn't really possible when he was with him as well.

i knew Mila was coming back, I took Aiden and slipped under the covers with him, lightly closing my eyes as I tried to sleep.

Aiden had curled up close to Vahn, his pretty brown eyes only flicking open a moment, before they closed again. He did have the part of his eye that was almost a whitish blue. However, his freckles wouldn't come in until he was older.

I liked being with Aiden I just wanted everyone I cared about to at least be content, but I guessed that did make me a little clingy.

(I guess I'm supposed to help my mom with a party tomorrow, i might suddenly vanish,)

Aiden did wake up hungry a few hours later, but I was nowhere to be found, just out. Aiden pulled lightly on Vahn's shirt, before he started to cry and squirm around once more.

(Oh, ok..)

(I guess not, nevermind)

I woke up and took Aiden up in my arms, "I'm sorry, I'm not mommy, she hasn't come back yet." i told him as I tried to comfort him, making sure to hold his head.

Aiden stopped crying, and tried to fall asleep again, not wanting to keep up his dad all night crying. He closed his dark eyes once more, and fell asleep hungry.

I got back around the next morning and laid on the couch in the living room.

I woke up and turned to Aiden, gently picking him up, hoping he'd start crying again so i'd know he was alive. I had gotten hardly an hour of sleep when Aiden suddenly stopped crying and went to sleep. Once I saw hat it was morning I got up and warmed up a small glass of milk, hoping I'd be able to get Aiden to drink it the next time he woke up.

Aiden woke up awhile after Vahn had woken up, and soon started crying loudly. He kicked his feet and moved his arms, though his stomach hurt from being so hungry. He needed to eat at least every four hours, it might have been three when he was a new born.

I turned onto my stomach, covering my head with a pillow when he started to cry, a moan escaping my mouth.

I shushed Aiden so he would calm down enough for me to at least dribble a little milk into his mouth, hoping he'd drink it and want more.

Aiden just shook his head, he was quiet, but he didn't want any of that milk. Or usually he wouldn't but, once he had the taste in his mouth he started wanting more, acting like he'd been starved to near death. He was so hungry.

I smiled and let more fall into his mouth, pausing at intervals so he could take a breather. I was glad I had made two warm cups in case I ran out of the first.

I got up and walked into the kitchen, making a cup of coffee. "What are you doing?" I asked, sighing lightly, before I shook my head, "It's 6am..." I was a bit hungover, clearly I'd gotten pretty wasted the night before.

"I was trying to keep him quiet, and full."I told mila, how has your night been?" I asked her, turning my attention back to Aiden, giving him a little more milk.

"I had lots of fun, met up with an old friend... We spent the night talking and.. stuff." I murmured as I took a sip of my coffee. I smiled slightly at Aiden when he started drinking the milk again. "I picked up a bottle while I was out... I figured we'd need it." I said as I gestured to my purse.

I glanced over, a little worried about what Mila meant by 'stuff,' I went over to her purse and pulled out the bottle before filling it with warm milk and feeding it to Aiden. "Is there anything I need to know about last night?" I asked Mila, looking her in the eye.

"Omm..." I shrugged, "Nope, not that I know of." I said as I looked down and to the left, playing with a strand of my hair. I smiled slightly as I thought back to the night before and turned around on my heels, humming along to a song as I happily walked back to the couch and sat down.
